    8/21/2015 1:54:00 PM - Man, we couldn't have had more opposite experiences. It's as if we were drinking two totally different wines. My experience was memorable. Either you had a meh bottle or I had a bombastic one, or both.

    8/26/2015 8:07:00 AM - I suppose I'm not too surprised to hear of your experience, because I was expecting more, and the person that brought the bottle had greater expectations too. I think it was more a case of some negative bottle variation (our conditions, i.e. road trip, were less than ideal). Would be glad to try it again at some point.

    8/26/2015 10:36:00 AM - Wine is such a fickle thing. Ideally I'd want to crack open a bottle stored in ideal conditions. But I've had 30-year bottles that were stored at room temperature, suffering through extreme temperature variations, and they were golden. I've had bottles stored in 55 degree cellars that were meh. Go figure.
