Thursday, November 16, 2023 - A year and a half since my last bottle. This was closed for business today after 2 hours in the glass. Finish was long but the block of limestone mid way through made this less enjoyable. At least a decade of good drinking once this reaches its prime in another few years. Revisit 2026
Day 3- popped the cork 6 hours in advance with about 4 ounces left and this was so much better, better complexity much less structure and drinking at peak. This should be decanted now for 4 hours plus to get the most of this wine.
