Sunday, January 11, 2015 - Inky dark purple, blueberry, blackberry nose. Lightly dry mineral with anise notes and chewy tannins, bright berry fruit forward berry compote rendition that is very refreshing with some lemon notes and tartness for balance. Bold fruit, cherries, black currants which is a little bold for my palate now, but others desiring a fruit forward wine should love it. From previous bottles, I will just let it sit for a couple days and it should settle into a quite enjoyable bottle, PnP 90 with potential. A couple of nights later and starting to show it's potential. Iodine with tart cherry, balance is good with bold fruit and chewy tannins. Ready to rock! Enjoy.
