Saturday, October 1, 2011 - Dark ruby color w/slight-fading edges. Really woodsy nose of charred oak and dark rasberry/cherry fruit. A masculine, muscular wine with dark woodsy cherry fruit but is a very high-acid wine with little grace and a rough texture. I like the flavor profile but this is not a well-made wine and is out of balance with too much acidity and too much oak.
