I was frankly shocked at the quality of this bottle. Deep red with a little browning, this had a very pleasant nose of leather and earth. The palate was absolutely fantastic - a nice balance of fruit and tannin with a finish that was superbly long. This seriously rivaled the '89 Cailloux I had last night. Really, it was that good.
