Tuesday, April 8, 2014 - Tasted an hour after decanting. Big and seductive nose of ripe fruit, mineral, tar and anise. Same mix on the palate. Blackberry and black raspberry fruit. This is a lush and powerful wine. It is also smooth and delicious. Time has been kind here, not so much to add complexity as to allow integration and mellowing. Excellent.
