Wednesday, August 26, 2015 - Decanted thru Vinturi direct from cellar where it has been for 4.5 years, very dark, great nose of damp old leaves/black fruit. Waited 10-15 minutes to warm up a bit and the nose and palate showed even more fruit with a back flavor of wet stones/river gravel. Smooth on the palate. Glad to have one more in my cellar. Paired nicely with some mini-quiche.
