Wednesday, September 27, 2023 - Still primary, I do wish that critics would stop giving unrealistic drinking windows. Admittedly, it is at the very beginning of its drinking window, but it needs at least another 18 months for the grippy tannin dominating the wine to retreat. I have to say that beneath the tannin potentionally there is an excellent wine that should be rating in the mid 90s in a couple of years. If you like your wines primary, it is ready, but otherwise give it another year or two.
