Community Tasting Note

Saturday, March 30, 2024 - I did not read tasting notes in advance on purpose, but I should have - this definitely needed more time to open than I expected (but should have known better). We decanted, but it continued to improve over a couple of hours, served with beef bourguignon. Garnet color starting to show age, graphite, herbaceous notes, cassis, very mild acidity, fading fruit, and medium-short finish. It was very good, but I don't think it will get better.
