Tuesday, April 9, 2024 - Almost 2 years since my last try and overall bottle no 12 in fairly regular intervals since arrivage. Pnp and shows beautifully from pulling the cork. Still a dark garnet in the glass with a very thin translucent rim. Deep dark fruit, good freshness, the oak is refined but still a bit too prominent for my preference, some animal notes. Good medium + weight and concentration on the palate, very typical Pauillac, medium tannins providing good support. Short to medium finish. Excellent showing of this 09, would give it another 1-2 years to integrate further.
