Tuesday, October 16, 2012 - Decanted 30 minutes prior to serving. Dark purple color. Surprisingly fragrant nose of black currant, spice, and plenty of oak. In the mouth, youthful but somewhat showy, with black currant fruit wrapped around wood spice, cigar, and earth notes. Plenty of tannins on the back end, of course. Really very nice. A-
