Sunday, February 2, 2014 - Medium red at the rim, tending to black to the core - quite strong cassis on the nose of this bottle, followed up by oak. A deftly woven palate of fine oak and finer tannins, and well-judged acidity - the fruit is still under all this structure. Needs more time, but progressing very nicely.
