Tuesday, June 16, 2015 - I just tasted this from Sampler store in London. I had a small pour in line with some more mature 86 Cos and Talbot. First time for me tasting this wine and I was immediately impressed/sold. Slightly sweet fruit and already immediately approachable, yet clearly having a Pauillac backbone allowing this to age and improve for two decades or so. A winner at in absolute terms and relative value a no brainer. Try this now and see of it is for you. It certainly is for me and I just bought a case of magnums in bond and will look to buy another case of standard size soon.

6/16/2015 6:19:00 PM - Agreed. An excellent, super value sip. We visited last year, met the owner, dined at the Chateau and sipped, among others, a 1959 and 1982. Very, very impressive visit, wine and people. We have yet to try any of the 2009. We also think it will lay down for two decades or so. Thanks for the review.

6/23/2015 8:16:00 AM - I went back the next day for another taster and confirmed my impression. Bought a case of Magnums and a case of standard size I found at a reasonable price in the market - I am sure this will give an immense amount of drinking pleasure for the years to come.

6/23/2015 5:37:00 PM - Thanks. We might give it a year or two before we try. Currently sipping some of the Left and Right Bank Bordeaux from 2007, which apparently is ready now...and will not last long...with a few exceptions.
