Sunday, November 1, 2015 - Not had this wine for 18 month and found it much less enjoyable than in 2013/2014. Decanted for about 30 min. Dark garnet. Wine is dominated by notes of toasted oak and coffee. The fruit might have pulled back a touch as fine but dense tannins appear on the mid-palate but am surprised just how strong the toast is now. Reminds me of modern Pape Clement vintages. Forget for five years and hope the fruit can absorb some of the toast..? 88+
