Friday, February 23, 2024 - The wine has medium intensity, fruit flavors have almost completely changed into aging aromas. Leather, Umami like Chinese spice and and a bit of a „amarone taste“, which might be the remnants of an earlier cherry flavor. Tannins are soft. Alcohol is well integrated. Nothing disturbs, nothing wows. In the glass, the wine does not change, I can’t detect complexity. To me no intellectual challenge, nothing to think about, but nice. I think further aging will not lead to any improvement. Nice experience, but for the price (130€) will not purchase more.
