Wednesday, March 15, 2017 - Deep garnet colour. Lifted nose displahying notes of dark cherries, dark plums, black currants, vanilla, cinnamon and clove.

It is dry in the mouth with a moderate acidity. It has firm fine-grained tannins and a hot alcohol. It is full-bodied with pronounced intensity flavours. The finish is long.

It is a very good quality wine. It shows complexity provided by oak ageing, but not enough to be considered outstanding. The finish is very persistent and it has very concentrated flavours in balance with the tannic structure and the acidity, but the alcohol is too warm to be balanced.
