Saturday, November 2, 2019 - Lovely bottle. Decanted, drank over two evenings. Very dark in the glass, almost no meniscus at all. Beguiling nose, with ripe (almost floral) black fruit, black tea, a hint of menthol. Needs coaxing in the mouth, as the cedar and tannins dominate, but all the flavors in the nose are there along with a classic herbal note. It is not flamboyant, but sure hits all the notes.
