Wednesday, January 15, 2020 - Very dense core again, showing a little more fade at the rim but barely; much more open and ripe fruit character, not just cassis, some red fruits. Quite intense, heady; lovely spread of intense, complex berried fruits - great tannic structure well hidden behind the fruit. Relatively high alcohol (14.5%). A little alcoholic, warm on the finish. Still coming together, should develop complexity with age - 20-30 years.
