Sunday, February 24, 2013 - Light gold color. Had a couple glasses over 2 hours. This paired really well with the 85th Annual Academy Awards. Crisper and fresher than the show itself. The nose is bright with nice fruit, red delicious apples, hints of berries, yeast, and minerals. There is a fine steady bead. The palate is consistent, apple, pear, minerals, strawberry on the finish. Nice balance. .....and the Oscar for Best Domestic Sparkler at an Awesome Price (13.99) goes to.....hey, it's pretty hard to beat the QPR.

3/1/2013 10:45:00 AM - I've always been impressed by their bottlings. Both N/V and vintage. I love DVX. It is very well made and sometimes you can really steal it. We've visited there several times and it has always been enjoyable.
