85 Points

Saturday, July 17, 2010 - Very dark ruby, 95% saturated. Profound nose of alcohol and black fruit with a smattering of oak. Heavyweight and unctuous palate with some candied fruits that rise to bombastic proportion. It could easily be mistaken for a big fat Zin and this is probably the most OTT Tobin James I've tried (and that says alot). Very in your face and sweet but it does have a good tannin structure. It's just a style that pleases the unwashed masses but certainly offends the Bourgeoisie (4+10+15+6) = 85
