Monday, August 8, 2022 - AP 13 10, 12.5% abv. Pale yellow. There's some development here - bruised apples in a layer on top of more tropical things - ginger, pineapple, candied lime. The palate is strange - this isn't pulling in the same direction. The sweetness tastes vaguely artificial and it's disconnected from the acidity. A bit hollow in the midpalate. Given this is now 13 years old and had "barely above the legal limit for Trocken" levels of RS, I'm not sure what comes next. It seems to be evolving very slowly, but toward what?
