Saturday, January 22, 2011 - Lovely nose of fresh apples, lime, grass and yeasty minerals. A full-throttle old world wine with deeply concentrated flavors of peach, lychee, apricot and minerals balanced by bracing acidity. Intense yet lighter-bodied with a real spicy, minerally aftertaste. Really lovely and well-balanced though this is clearly a rich, exotic vintage of this wine. Yum with pan-fried, sesame tuna.
