90 Points

Monday, April 11, 2011 - Not a big fan of the genre, but nevertheless this was a steller example. Clean and clear in the glass, with a nose of florals and citrus oil, the palate is a complex mix of tart green apple, quince, and touches of clover honey and sea salt, all tinged with a streak of minerality and a balancing acidic backbone. Would like to revisit this with another year or two of age on the bottle, as it should lay down well. Terrific structure.
