Although still delicious, I think, or hope, it needs more time. In its infancy the acidity and fruitiness filled the mouth to a thrilling but almost painful degree. Now they are slightly more muted (relatively) and at present there is not much filling the void that this mellowing has created. This may be an awkward young man phase; the adolescent testerone having diminished but the complexity and self-assurance of age still some time away. Or it may just fade away, increasingly disjointed as it attempts to live up to its youthful promise. It will be interesting to swap notes with it as our parallel development continues.
