Wednesday, December 6, 2017 - This bottle of the Haut-Lieu was showing beautifully, opening in the glass with an expressive but youthfully vibrant bouquet of honey suckle, tart apple, lime, beeswax and classic Chenin Blanc lanolin. On the palate, the wine is elegantly glossy, racy and mouthwatering, with a superb line of acidity, a deep core of succulent fruit, and a long, tingling finish. It would be hard to ask for much more from a young bottle of Haut-Lieu sec.
