Sunday, August 9, 2015 - Dark garnet color turning crimson at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose is earthy - very Bordeaux-like, with notes of dried meat, herbs, leather, and currants. The palate is full-bodied, dry, and fleshy in texture. Flavors of black currant, black tea, pepper spice, tobacco, espresso and dark chocolate form the core. This has an intense character, lively acidity, and meaty on the finish. Drink now until 2028.
