Saturday, January 10, 2015 - Color: Deep Purple
Nose: Dark fruits, cassis and berries with hints of oak
Palate: Well balanced tannins and very smooth
Finish: Medium bodied with medium to long finish
Decanting: Popped and pored
Thoughts: We let this bottle sit in our cellar and it has held up well. A discussion we had with winemaker Bob Bertheau, he said this wine is not intended to be cellared for long periods of time such other wines they make. With that piece of information we will not let the wine sit much longer and start consuming it. It is very good Cabernet Sauvignon that we will keep in our cellar as a every day drinker.
