Thursday, November 23, 2023 - From 375ml. Notably darker in color than the rest of my '09 Sauternes but still tasted young and fresh. Absolutely delicious profile of brulee vanilla sugar with loads of tropical fruit and just enough acidity to balance. Touch of baking spices and botrytis throughout. Paired perfectly with both the pumpkin pie and apple galette. This is an average-great sauternes and will stun the pants off of a casual wine drinker who has never tasted a proper desert wine before. Loved by all at the table. I'm never disappointed with this producer.
