Saturday, December 24, 2011 - 14.5% alcohol. A smoking good bottle of wine. This has gotten smooth and velvety, with gorgeously pure cherry fruit and baking spice on the nose. In the mouth, luscious in texture, with layers of fruit, spice, and earth that are just so pretty. I think this is drinking pretty near a good peak right now, but it will continue to develop with a couple more years of age. A-
