Friday, May 1, 2020 - The Premier Cru importer label brings back memories. This was a steal at $19.99 and only took a year to be delivered. Ah, those were the days.
Pours a medium ruby with some orange at the rim, beginning to show some age. On the nose, crushed rocks, loam, raspberry, citrus peel, roses. Thin and pretty acidic, not showing much fruit, with a rather lean and angular raspberry-cranberry profile. Finish is clipped, with some tannin pucker. Nice nose, but doesn't deliver on the palate. The last of my '08 Pavelots, save one Dominode.
