Monday, April 14, 2014 - Medium (almost pale) ruby colour. Combination of red fruits - cranberry, redcurrant and raspberry - and earthy wet stones notes on the nose. Also an unexpected sulphurous, matchstick smell - odd but not unpleasant. Palate is medium bodied, and refreshing, with medium(+) flavour intensity and tannins which are smooth and well integrated. Red fruits again but more sour than on the nose, particularly sour cherries on the finish.
