Friday, July 17, 2015 - Medium plus intensity aromas of jubey sweet red fruits; cherry and plum, with some brambly notes, leather, muted vanilla and coconut, a bit of sweet spice and a touch of clove as well as plentiful oak. In the mouth the wine is slightly juicy with black and red fruits, vanilla and muted coconut and a little spice then surprisingly chewy oaky tannins. Surprisingly good. And, despite the specified drinking window, by no means tired and done.
