Friday, October 24, 2008 - Decanted for 5 hours and tasted blind.
Almost opaque purple in the glass. Reticent nose of cassis, leather, and pencil shavings. Cassis more pronounced on the palate with a little bit of oak also. Full-bodied with dusty tannins. Strong acidity. Medium length finish.
