Thursday, February 12, 2009 - Decanted 2 hours. Classic nose. Yes, coniferous notes present also hints of chocolate (I guess that makes it chocolate-mint :-). Some floral notes earlier on and at times the slightest bit reedy and green. Beautiful buoyant weight and flow through. Tannins are persistent but softened. Finish is long with nice acid. No doubt will improve with age. I have more and despite enjoying this I will try to wait a couple more before trying again.
