Monday, October 22, 2012 - Liquid gold in the glass. Nose presents beeswax, honey, white sultanas, marzipan, dried herbs and nectarine. Only a faint hint of oxidation, which adds complexity and depth. On the palate this is silky smooth, yet very broad and impressive! Again there's nectarine, caramel, truffles, vanilla, honeysuckle and nutty nuances like hazelnut and almond. Great supportive acidity, excellent length. A great and complete wine to drink now. 18.5/20
