Sunday, May 7, 2017 - Very beautiful dark plum color. Nose of dark fruit, earthiness. Terrific on the tongue. Nice suggestion of dried fruit on the tip of the tongue—cassis, blueberry, and maybe, plum. Tannin does not hit until mid-palate. This wine is so easy to drink. It is very approachable now. While there is still tannin there, I’m not sure there is enough acid to recommend holding it longer.
