Saturday, August 21, 2021 - 1hr plus decant. Inky, purple color. Nose has oak, vanilla, blackberries, and tar on it. Very classic Napa Cab. Wine is medium plus depth but the alcohol is a little over bearing. After a glass or two it gets too hot and overwhelms the fruit and oak. Was very nice to start but my appeal faded as green elements began to appear. Definitely would benefit from more aging.
