Tuesday, October 21, 2014 - Popped and poured. Really tasty right now. Dark red color and almost a bricking effect at the edges even though it is youthful. Powerful nose with some spice. Palette is vanilla, lavender and violet. And some toasted oak, but just a hint. Very round and luscious. Medium long finish. A full bodied wine with delicate features. Sumptuous. Certainly has the stuffing to leave laying down for a few more years if you like, but wouldn't be scared to pop now.
