Tuesday, December 24, 2019 - Christmas Eve with Family (St. Paul, MN): Very dark garnet hued red color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. This was singing out of the gate. Very polished, a classic merlot in the best possible way. Full and plush, layered dark fruits; cassis, raspberry and mulberry, charcoal, pencil, silky and long. Loved this as did the crowd. Peaking with room to go on for at least several years.
