Saturday, March 22, 2014 - Whites at Brians: Pop and pour. Shared a bottle with 2 people over a couple hours. This wine is drinking well right now. Tropical fruit all over the place - pineapple, mango, melon, a bit of green apple. In addition there's spice, a little earth, and quite a bit of buttery oak. Almost too much oak. Given the price and that this is "just" an appellation wine, this is an impressive effort.
