Saturday, March 26, 2022 - Dark red color with a maroon hue and clear 3mm margin. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. The nose shows cherry compote, black olive, threads of black raspberry and blue berry and hints of cherry bon bon. The palate offers a somewhat more rustic mix of red, blue and black fruits, gravelly minerals, dark cocoa, gravelly minerality and plenty of spice on a full bodied framework with coarse firm tannins. Very solid and old school style. 90-91pts.
