Saturday, August 26, 2023 - Different experience this time. 2 hour decant, which was not enough and about one hour was in bottle before actually decanting. Browning robe. Light to medium body. Blackberry and spice flavors. Quite stemmy, with drying stemmy tannin into the finish. Not sure the fruit will hold up long enough for the tannin to integrate. That being said it is still enjoyable.

9/19/2023 4:45:00 PM - As one prone to decant almost every red myself, I suggest--based on my experience with this wine--that a little *less* air may be better for the 02 Lambrays at this point. Maybe 30 min in the decanter then gently complete its opening over the next hour or so in the glass.
