95 Points

Tuesday, February 2, 2010 - Tasting Group Dinner - It Was A Great Run (Heidi's, Minneapolis): Classic Chambertin personality -- beefy and masculine, yet sleek and floral. Complex and gorgeously expressive layers of red fruit, spice box, and roasted meat. Deft oak treatment. Medium weight, with a long finish that picks up additional sous bois/mushroom nuances. Rousseau seems to have really over-achieved in this vintage. Will undoubtedly benefit from additional cellaring.
