Thursday, October 28, 2021 - Armand Rousseau Chambertin Dinner (State Street Manor - Chicago IL): Wine of the Night. Powerful and dense with gracefully maturing black fruit. Not particularly ripe, but this manages to seem wonderfully rich and meaty. Long, lingering, elegant and seamless finish. Single blind alongside 2001 Chambertin-Clos de Beze. I correctly identified this based on a powerful character vs the Chambertin-Clos de Beze's spicier nature.
