Wednesday, June 17, 2015 - Last had one of these about 3 years ago so thought I'd check in again. Fabulous, effusive nose of crushed rock, mango, orchard fruits and tart apple skin. With air, some honey too. Palate has (literally) mouthwatering acidity and characteristic woolly chenin notes. Lovely precision. A slight broadening on the finish that indicates a minor evolution since the last time I tasted this. Fabulous wine. I served it slightly colder than cellar temp. Great match with tomatillo salsa.
