Saturday, April 5, 2014 - About 3 hours air. Stored in natural cellar so may be drinking earlier for me. Redcurrant and cranberry with more black fruit over time on the nose, hints of leather and woody spice too. On the palate, surprisingly silky, powerful, complex, fresh from the vintage, long finishing, mouth coating, and darker, black cherry and blackcurrant. Don't get the greenness of others - although clearly from a classic vintage and all the better for that. Simply wonderfully in balance wine.
