Starts of a little shy. But with some time and air this comes around big time!

Medium intense aromas of dark fruit, plums, blackcurrants, liquorice, dirt, chocolate, wood, ceder, dust and cherries. Very good depth, but I might have wished for a bit more complexity.

The palate is outstanding. Medium+ acidity, dry but with dense fruit. Distinct, but fine grained tannins. Medium body, high intensity and a ridiculously long finish. Had to run a quick errand out the office while I was tasting this, and realized standing in queue at the store that I could still feel the taste in my mouth.

Still feel somewhat tight knit, and will most likely benefit a lot from a further 5-7 years in the cellar. No problem drinking now though :)
