Sunday, May 19, 2013 - 1h decant. Dark garnet even a touch of purple. Still a rather tight nose with some herbs. Impressive, generous dark fruit on the palate. Like blueberry pie with some cream but without being overly jammy. Some chocolate and a bit lead pencil too. Tannins initially entirely covered by the fruit, later they come out a bit more pronounced but it all stays in nice balance. Medium plus finish.
A very impressive 04 with a long life ahead.
