95 Points

Saturday, July 14, 2018 - At its peak and drinking perfectly tonight, the 2008 Corton-Charlie has a bit of everything: Rich, spiced pear; mushroom aromas; pure minerality; and just a slight trace of pain grillé. A more powerful wine than expected for the vintage, with large-scale spiced orchard fruit on the palate, all brought home by crisp acidity and a beautiful mineral core. The finish lingers indefinitely. This is phenomenal.
