Thursday, April 3, 2003 - Med ruby, dark orange at rim, subdued aromas of faint cherry, rose, builds w/air, meat, spice, pine, smokey tar, more complexity, b2, a4, t4, juicy & tart w/waves of tannin muscling in on finish, not much fruit evident, picks up some w/air, lots of structure, could be interesting w/some bottle age, day 2, shows a bit more plushness & fruit, still very assertive tannins/acid on finish, decent enough now, actually very nice as fruit continues to sweeten
